AOPEN AW744L II - Yamaha XG YMF744 YMF724 OPL3 PCI retro sound card BOXED NEW

Description

Up for sale is a new AOPEN AW744L II PCI sound card - the serial number will be different than the one pictured.
The pictures of the bare card and CD/Manual are from an identical card that I opened up in order to verify that the cards have genuine Yamaha chips and not a remarked CMI chip.
I tested in DOS with the DOS configuration utility to verify that it detected and worked properly. I also tested in Windows 98SE.
The box (not sealed from the factory) will be opened to verify the contents. The anti-static bag that the sound card is in will be factory sealed.
The box will have some shelf-wear (crease(s) and/or wear marks).

There are modified versions of the DOS configuration utility that will allow it to support DDMA on more chipsets than the default configuration utility allows. This is only used in pure DOS mode. If you need the modified configuration utilities, let me know and I will give you a link to download.
It is also possible to add the PC-PCI/SB-Link header. You will just need a couple SMD resistors and the header to do so. If you want to do that, let me know and I will send you a link to the instructions (requires soldering).
This card officially supports DOS and Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000.
XP is also supported, but only in stereo.
