Description

The ASI6012 is a professional PCI audio adapter designed for use in radio broadcast automation. The ASI6012 offers four or six (software selectable) play streams that are mixed to two balanced stereo outputs. One record stream is fed from one balanced stereo input. A choice of 16bit PCM, MPEG layer 2, MP3 and Dolby AC2 compression is available on all playback streams. Record formats include PCM16, MPEG layer 2 and MP3. MRX multi-rate mixing technology allows streams of different samplerates and formats to be mixed digitally. TSX timescaling allows compression/expansion of any or all playback streams in real time with no change in pitch. Synchronization capabilities include an AES/EBU sync input and Word clock input and output.
