EVGA Nu Audio Card.
Used for about a year and then I upgraded to an external AMP/DAC combo.  This audio card sounded way better than my motherboard audio, and was a good transition for me into high-end audio.  Used this with a HD6XX headphones and it had no problem driving them.  This sound card works as an internal DAC/Headphone amp.  This card slots into a PCIe 1x slot and requires a SATA connector for power.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This audio card works best with EVGA's audio software and drivers.  The software can be somewhat difficult to setup, but once setup there are tons of options for adding audio effects, changing the bit/sample rate, and many other options.
- This card comes with RGB LEDs on the side and these can be adjusted using the Nu Audio software, but by default they are rainbow colored.
- The quality of this card is very impressive, but external DACs/AMPs will give slightly better performance.  If you've got a bit more money I recommend one of the Schiit products.  The main appeal for this card is an all-in-one solution that doesn't take up any desk space and comes with software that gives a lot of different options for sound quality.
